CAMA

Collection Account Management Agreement

The (CAMA) Collection Account Management Agreement is an instrument which allows financial transparency and equality of treatment between beneficiaries of a share of the receipts. It is a financial protection tool for producers and investors, implemented by Smart Contracts. Each film and audiovisual project has its own bank account supervised by an Account Manager, which allocates and guarantees the revenues sharing.
Once the film’s bank account is set up and the CAMA is in place, the allocation
of payments is done automatically according to the beneficiaries’ agreements.
This automatic allocation occurs shortly after a new stream of revenues
reaches the film’s bank account.

NFTs

Non Fungible Tokens

Producers and Creators have a blockchain based platform where they tokenise
their content and publish it as NFTs, depending on the rights they want to
share and the funding they want to raise, allowing anyone to access the rights
to it and share it with their fans and audience.
NFTs make films, photos, images and archival materials into unique and collectible objects. Each work is potentially an infinite catalog for the NFT collections.
Real works with all rights of use always remain with the original owner, but new revenue channels and new ways of enhancing content are created. Productions can use any film, or part of it, to create a large catalog of digital merchandising.

What is Defilm?

Defilm is the first innovative financing blockchain platform built for the film
industry, which allows you to invest with confidence in major international
productions and in audiovisual works. It only takes a few clicks and the process
is completely secure.

Why is Defilm using blockchain technology?

The Defilm team has a strong background in the film & tech industries. Our
first-hand experience in creating CAMAs and working with filmmakers taught us
two things. First, digital industries are thriving with exciting content creation
and increased consumption. Second, there is little to no infrastructure and a
huge lack of transparency in the industry practices. Blockchain works in such a
way that is able to manage the increased volume of content and the “need for
speed” when it comes to payments through a glass wall: all signatories are in
the know about what’s happening with the film they worked on.
Defilm uses Ethereum Blockchain as a security layer. The private blockchain
ensures financial privacy for all the stakeholders involved in a film’s production
whilst still delivering automation, transparency and instant payouts.

What are NFTs and how do they work?

NFT is the acronym for Non-Fungible Token. The adjective “non-fungible”
indicates a non-replicable and non-replaceable good because it has a specific
individuality. An NFT can be any digital object: a video, a photo or an image, a
music or an audio track, a text or an article, it has a certificate of authenticity
and uniqueness, issued thanks to blockchain technology.
NFTs are, therefore, contents associated with a digital register, which
guarantees the characteristics of uniqueness and authenticity, giving the buyer
a certificate of originality and ownership of the digital product, which is
equivalent to the signature of the author. Each NFT, thanks to the blockchain,
is a unique piece.
NFTs therefore represent the ownership of unique objects. They can only have
one official owner at a time and are tracked and protected by the blockchain:
no one can change the intellectual property of a digital work or copy a new
existing NFT.

NFTs represent a digital asset: as tokens we can use them to prove our

ownership of unique objects. Digital items such as film, art and collectibles can
be created and exchanged.

How do I onboard my film on Defilm?

We analyze all information and specific needs of your project.
After agreeing to the Terms of Service, we drafts the legal contract
considering all the clauses in the agreements with the beneficiaries involved in
the film. The contract will then be translated into a personalised dashboard on
the platform. We open an individual bank account for every film on Defilm.

Why should I become a movie investor via Defilm?

Because investing in a movie yields profits in a short amount of time, within 24
months. As soon as the movie is ready, the production has a guaranteed
revenue from the sale of distribution rights, both to movie theatres and
streaming platforms. The revenue quickly turns into dividends for those who
invested in production.

Which is the minimum investment to become a Defilm?

In order to participate in a cinematographic project, you are required to invest
a minimum of 25.000.00 euros. Speak with one of our experts for more details.

Who receives the money I invest?

The money you invest goes directly to the project bank account with CAMA,
which will be able to access the funds once the budget for the movie is
completely financed, and the pre-production process has started. Smart
Contract with CAMA implementation will do revenue sharing quickly and
automatichally

What kind of return can I expect?

The expected return depends on the kind of process you decide to finance. In
the meeting with the founding partners, you will be promptly informed of the

expected return for each kind of investment opportunity. Please consider that,

generally speaking, the returns on cinematographic investments are higher
than those generated by other low-risk financial products. In addition, the tax
credit considerably reduces the risk of the investment.

Which documents do I have to provide, which will I sign and receive?

You are asked to provide a personal or company document which shows your
financial information, in order for us to verify guarantees on your investment.
You will receive all the financial documents and reports on the film production.

Can I have an analysis of the film investment ?

Certainly, the analysis is carried out directly by the production companies or by
experts in the field like us. Therefore, our goal is to provide you with the
methods of analysis and the best solutions to invest in the world of movies.
